| 01/24/03 - 1:11 pm Location: at work Notes: the second week of classes is done - it's been rather intense, cuz i had to catch up with my homework. it's been freaking cold, like super cold, all the time so i really didnt go skating at all. hopefulle this weekend it'll be better. as for 2nite, we're probably going to have a party at richards house. or antons. or whereever. i dont care. what i know for sure tho, is that i'm definitely not going to spend money on supplies, cuz i'm kinda Broke. so yeah... I added a couple of new mp3s in the music section, it's the band called 5nizza. they play reggae music and sing in russian. you might still like it if yer american, so check it out. or something ciao. | 01/20/03 - 1:44 pm Location: at home Notes: whoopty doo! i think i can donate plasma again. i went to the center thingy again and they like pulled a test on me and hopefully i will know the result pretty soon. it's regarding my low rbc count... so yeah. the weather has finally improved, and the temperature went up to the freezing point during the day! so we actually went skating several times. it was still rather cool but very very tolerable. and i learned how to drop-in in switch!! of course, i learned thru pain, but now i'm confident doing it =) aaaanyways, the school's going .. i'd say it's going okay - i havent started doing my homework yet.. i guess 2morrow is going to be a 'homework' day. and also 2morrow i start working. meanwhile i'm continuing playing guitar once in a while and it's going good! i think i'm gonna be gettin an amp pretty soon. that'd be nice. there were some little parties this weekend; however i'd call them little gettogethers. nothing unusual happened.. oh by the way we all have today off cuz it's main black dude's b-day. crazy... | 01/14/03 - 9:38 am Location: at home Notes: well, we didnt really party this weekend; actually it turned out to be a downfall. pretty boring and upsetting - nothing major, just ruined plans.. shit like that. but anyways, it's new week and there's no time to waste. my classes started yesterday - everything seems to be rather easy, but i still dont have a couple of study books that i need to purchase. calculus, however, is going to be a tough nut to crack, i guess. but oh well, i'll manage thru it, i'm sure. richard keeps hurting himself at work all the time, and therefore, spends shit loada time in the hospitals, so we barely have time to hang out with him. but we always plan some shit for the weekend, like playing guitars and stuff. he'll be assisting me to buy an amp for my ibanez toy. besides that, i discovered a new way to skate when it's cold out. i put on two sweatshirts, gloves, a hat and skate =) it's not bad at all, just a little hot sometimes. i'm going today again =)) Mood: pretty good Music: Alice Cooper - Brutal Planet |
| 01/09/03 - 1:20 pm Location: at home Notes: i'm lazy and therefore couldnt find time to get to the computer. finally i did. so i came back from the best vacation i've ever had! it was nice, warm and pleasent in all imaginable aspects of it. it was even warm enuff for me and anton to go swimming one day in the gulf of mexico. as for christmas - they celebrate it too!! i got a few gifts, but the best of them all was brand new Ibanez G10 electric guitar. and i got it from Wildchild, so i'd like to express my greatest gratitude for that! =)) and for everything too! i also traveled to new orleans, the city of blues or jazz - whatever they say, a couple of times. first we went sightseeing and i even took a bunch of pics, which i will be posting up here pretty soon. it was fun - i bought a bunch of souvenirs. and the second time we went on the new years eve, closer to midnight. it was also fun, but a bit too crowded with intoxicated individuals. but so were we, so it didnt bother us much! =) unfortunately i didnt skate much while i was there, cuz the only skatepark was rather far away, and it was one of those stupid ones where you have to pay and wear a helmet, so yuk - i didnt go there. and i guess cops are pretty strict there about skating in parking lots and i didnt want a ticket. but now i'm back, and was actually skating yesterday for quite a while, since the weather turned out to be reaaaly nice yesterday - it warmed up to 60's! and today it's all cold and windy again, as usually... damn, i miss Long Beach. oh, by the way, that's where i've been while down there. i dont have school yet - it starts on monday, and i still have to buy a couple of books and stuff.. besides that it's all as it was before.. i got all A's for the past semester which raised my gpa up to 3.75 haha. i'm still a genius =) but since i dont work yet (we start on the second week of classes), and i cant donate plasma till the 20th of january (i'm on quarantine), i'm kinda broke right now. but it's okay - it's not the first time.
